Hi, I’m Dean Sale…great name for sales I know!

I’m an Author, Consultant, Sales Performance Coach and Mentor: (…Dad & Husband too! which are my most important roles of course).

I have over 30 years experience in sales & business,…I’m an all-round Sales Whizz®. As an entrepreneur I’ve worked hard and smart to achieve great success in business. I was the Co-Founder & Sales Director of a multi-million pound turnover business that employed over 45 people. Over 18 years my business won multiple industry awards and was featured in THE SUNDAY TIMES – Fast Track 100 (2009) as the 90th fastest growing company in the UK, I collected an award at Sir Richard Branson’s home.

I sold my business in 2018 to pursue new interests and achieve new goals: “we created it, we built it & then we sold it”, that was always our plan.

I created Sales Whizz® to continue to do what I love, sales & helping others.

My Story

I’m a kid from a council estate that has always dreamt big. When I was 15, I had an epiphany and my ‘want’ for success began, it was the first time I said “I can, and I will”. I flew on Concorde (in my teens) as a reward for sales excellence, I ran down the aisle at supersonic speed so I could feel like a superhero. When I was 19, I set myself a goal of becoming a millionaire by the age of 45, in my early twenties I reduced this timeframe to 43. I sold my telecoms business and walked out of my office on my 43rd birthday! The goal I set when I was a teenager had been accomplished: However, I’m not really a yesterday person, I much prefer asking myself “what can I achieve today and what are my goals for tomorrow and beyond”.

I’ve employed, coached and mentored hundreds of wonderful people over the past 2 decades. For me there is nothing more satisfying than watching my team flourish and succeed on the back of the help & support I’ve given them, and now with my new business Sales Whizz® I’m continuing to do what I love & enjoy.

Family

I’m married to a beautiful lady (we’ve been together for over 25 years). We attended infant & junior school together, so maybe it was written in the stars for us to be soul mates.

We have 2 wonderful children, I’m so proud of them both.

…Oh, and I must mention our sausage dog ‘Wilson’. We named Wilson after the ball in the Tom hanks film Cast Away, we still laugh when we shout ”WIIILLLSSSON”.

Books & Publications

Writing a book was on my to-do list for many years, and it’s now become a reality: I’ve recently published the first in a series of self-improvement books on sales.

Creative thinking & innovative ideas has always been a speciality of mine, and now I’m applying these methods to the wonderful business owners, managers & teams I’m working with. Driving sales is what I do!! …whether it’s directly (as a Consultant) or indirectly (as a Sales Performance Coach), my goal is to help you attract new customers, generate new leads & opportunities and close more deals.

We all need a little help & support along the way, entrepreneur is an easy word to say but not so easy to be. As a Mentor I encourage, motivate, drive and support the people I work with.
